    Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC)

    ACS-WASC-Fully-Accredited-sisWASC is one of six private, nonprofit, regional accrediting authorities in the United States. WASC provides assistance and accreditation to schools located in California, Hawaii, the Pacific Islands and East Asia.

    As an international and high profile accrediting agency, WASC is recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education and services over 4,000 schools, aiming to foster excellence in education by encouraging continuous school improvement.

    Seven of our Singapore International Schools have been accredited by the Schools Commission of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC).

    Singapore Examinations and Assessment Board

    Singapore Examinations and Assessment Board (SEAB), formerly the Examinations Division of the Ministry of Education (MOE), Singapore, was formed to develop and conduct national examinations in Singapore and to provide other examinations and assessment services, locally as well as overseas.

    KinderWorld was appointed as an Overseas Examination Center in April 2005 by the SEAB, to conduct the Singapore International Primary School Examination (iPSLE).

    The iPSLE is an international version of the Primary School Leaving Examinations (PSLE) taken by Singaporean students after completing Primary education.

    KinderWorld’s Singapore International Schools are registered with Cambridge Assessment International Education to teach and assess the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) and Cambridge International AS and A Levels.

    The IGCSE is taken in over 100 countries worldwide and is the world’s most popular international qualification for 14 -16 years old. The IGCSE is recognised by Universities and employers worldwide as a mark of quality signifying clear evidence of a student’s ability.

    The Cambridge International AS and A Levels are internationally benchmarked qualifications providing excellent preparation for university under graduate education. They are taken in over 125 countries and are widely recognised by universities and employers alike.

  • Nexgen's English Competency Programme (neo™)

    Nexgen’s English Competency Programme (neo™)

    Nexgen’s English Competency Programme (neo™) is the latest release from DynEd International Inc. The English Proficiency Certification course, known as Nexgen’s English Competency Programme (neo™) is an Artificial Intelligent (AI) application in English language learning which is coupled with targeted teacher instruction. The AI application automatically adjusts the depth and variety of learning materials presented in a lesson.

    The level of difficulty changes according to the success rate of the student, giving each learner immediate feedback on their comprehension of content and concepts. This course provides student with an official English Proficiency Certification based on the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) from the world’s leading provider of English language learning software.

All programmes of Elmhurst University are taught by resident Associate or Full Professors.

    Designed to give Overseas Students from ASEAN a taste of University life, Elmhurst also offers a 4-week Summer Immersion Programme combining academic coursework and college admission workshops with cultural activities.

    Through a mutual collaboration, both KinderWorld and Hwa Chong aim to provide opportunities for students to participate in learning experiences and leadership programmes at each other’s school campuses.

    OBV-parterOutward Bound is an international, non-profit, independent outdoor education organisation with approximately 40 schools around the world and 200,000 participants per year. Outward Bound programmes aim to foster the personal growth and social skills of participants by using challenging expeditions in the outdoors.

    Our students participate in the Outward Bound course, which is designed to bulid self-confidence and strengthen leadership skills such as teamwork, perseverance and effective communication.
