CHILDREN’S DAY AT SIS@VT
SIS celebrated Children’s Day on 31st May. Students assembled in their House Teams and spent the afternoon reflecting on how special and precious children are, while enjoying several action-packed, fun-filled activities. Years 1-3 had a Dance Party, Balloon-Popping Race, Big Bubble Wands and House “Easter Egg” Hunt. Years 4 and up tested their knowledge of well-known or famous children from around the world with Who am I?. Some built a marshmallow and toothpick tower, and then ate the evidence. The older students got out their selfie-sticks and struck a pose during an exhilarating Photo Scavenger Hunt. Most of the older students ended the day with an intense House Team Balloon-Popping Battle. It was a great way to end exam month.
