Hour of Code and STEM in December
This Monday at SIS from December 3 until December 8th, our students will be participating in a computer coding event emphasizing Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM). Students will be applying their ICT knowledge and computational thinking skills whilst completing an hour of coding challenges. After the successful completion of Hour of Code, each student will receive an Hour of Code certificate for their participation.
The Hour of Code is an international online event that occurs during Computer Science Week each December in countries around the globe. This fun and engaging STEM challenge helps to further develop technological literacy in each student at SIS, in order to prepare them for future work and industry 4.0 careers in Vietnam and abroad.
