CULTURAL EXCHANGE
Between SIS@VUNG TAU and FAIRFIELD METHODIST (Singapore)
After careful preparation and months of collaboration, the representatives from Fairfield Methodist School (Secondary) and Singapore International School @ Vung Tau have finally met. This occasion marks the first exchange of its kind at our school and it was a huge success!
Fairfield brought Year 9 and 10 students, totaling 30 in all. For SIS, we were represented by our 9G, IGCSE 1 & IGCSE 2 (29 students). Each group had performances about their culture, presentations about their school, and activities prepared for the exchange. Also, the students were able to try popular foods from both Singapore and Vietnam. One of their favorite activities of the day were the school sports matches, and the teams participated in football and basketball.
The students had a wonderful time learning from each other, and the entire day was student-led. The memories created and friendships made will last for many years to come. From today, they can all be assured that they are one step closer to truly being Global Citizens.
